Everyone can enter a contest. We have an Amateur Contest for all ages. They learn at an early age to become masters of the sand. Registration may be done by printing a copy of the application from this website and mailing it along with your fee to Texas Sandfest . This will guarantee you a spot for your sculpture. No last minute and long lines to stand in on the day of the contest. The rules and application will be posted as soon as we are ready to start accepting them.

The Saturday of SandFest weekend, besides watching the Masters event, we hold an Amateur's contest for all ages. This is everyone's chance to show that you don't have to be a master sculptor to get your hands dirty and create something wonderful out of sand. Come to watch or come to play. Either way, you are going to have fun!
